El Consejo General del Instituto Electoral del Estado de M\u00e9xico aprob\u00f3, durante su Vig\u00e9sima Sesi\u00f3n Extraordinaria, el Proyecto de Acuerdo para el Procedimiento para la verificaci\u00f3n por parte del Instituto Electoral del Estado de M\u00e9xico de los requisitos de elegibilidad 8 de 8, previo a la asignaci\u00f3n de cargos en el marco del Proceso Electoral Judicial Extraordinario 2025.

Al respecto, la Consejera Presidenta Amalia Pulido G\u00f3mez destac\u00f3 que la elaboraci\u00f3n de dicho proyecto es el resultado de semanas de an\u00e1lisis, y que brinda certeza al Proceso Electoral del pr\u00f3ximo domingo. Expres\u00f3 su reconocimiento tanto a las Consejer\u00edas, como a la Unidad de Coordinaci\u00f3n de G\u00e9nero (UCG) del IEEM, que en su momento realiz\u00f3 los an\u00e1lisis y recomendaciones pertinentes. Puntualiz\u00f3 que el trabajo del \u00f3rgano electoral siempre es un esfuerzo colectivo.

Respecto al mismo punto, la Consejera Electoral, Flor Angeli Vieyra V\u00e1zquez mencion\u00f3 que dicha revisi\u00f3n de los requisitos de elegibilidad debe efectuarse para garantizar que solo las personas que los cumplan accedan a cargos p\u00fablicos. Detall\u00f3 que en este proceso, los comit\u00e9s de evaluaci\u00f3n de los tres poderes de la entidad ya realizaron un primer filtro al momento del registro, y que el segundo tendr\u00e1 lugar despu\u00e9s de la Jornada Electoral del primero de junio.

Vieyra V\u00e1zquez subray\u00f3 que este procedimiento, que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo por parte del IEEM, incluye pasos como: la revisi\u00f3n de expedientes de candidaturas, la recepci\u00f3n de denuncias ciudadanas o de asociaciones civiles sobre posibles incumplimientos, y el respeto a la garant\u00eda de audiencia. Resalt\u00f3 que el Instituto tiene la facultad para realizar las diligencias necesarias que aseguren una revisi\u00f3n exhaustiva; la Consejera Electoral enfatiz\u00f3 que deben seguirse impulsando acciones que erradiquen la violencia contra las mujeres y reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo colectivo del \u00f3rgano electoral en la implementaci\u00f3n de este mecanismo.

Por su parte, la Consejera Electoral Karina Ivonne Vaquera Montoya explic\u00f3 que la aprobaci\u00f3n del Acuerdo del Consejo General del IEEM sobre el \u201c8 de 8\u201d salda una deuda hist\u00f3rica con las mujeres en temas de violencia, ya que el documento establece con precisi\u00f3n el procedimiento a seguir, as\u00ed como un cat\u00e1logo de delitos por los que las candidaturas estar\u00edan impedidas para desempe\u00f1arse como juzgadoras o juzgadores; por ejemplo, aquellas conductas que atenten contra la vida y la integridad sexual; no ser deudores alimentarios, as\u00ed como otras consideradas en el C\u00f3digo Penal de la entidad.

Adem\u00e1s, Vaquera Montoya reconoci\u00f3 a las consejeras electorales y las \u00e1reas involucradas en el desarrollo de este procedimiento.

En su intervenci\u00f3n, la Consejera Electoral Paula Melgarejo Salgado coment\u00f3 que con este Acuerdo, el IEEM adquiere la facultad de hacer una segunda revisi\u00f3n de los expedientes de las candidaturas, a fin de verificar que las y los postulantes cumplan no solo con las disposiciones legales a nivel federal, sino tambi\u00e9n a nivel estatal, incluso desde las primeras convocatorias de presentaci\u00f3n de postulaciones.

Destac\u00f3 y reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo de la Consejera Electoral Vieyra V\u00e1zquez, pues dijo fue minucioso, a fin de garantizar que las personas candidatas no hayan cometido alg\u00fan delito de los incluidos como parte del Acuerdo.

Previamente, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la Tercera Sesi\u00f3n Ordinaria Proceso Electoral Judicial Extraordinario 2025 del Estado de M\u00e9xico donde el Consejo General del IEEM valid\u00f3 el Proyecto de Acuerdo para el Procedimiento para el traslado del material electoral recuperado; la recepci\u00f3n y resguardo de los paquetes electorales que contienen los votos v\u00e1lidos, votos nulos, boletas no utilizadas y la documentaci\u00f3n electoral sobrante del Proceso Electoral Judicial Extraordinario 2025 del Estado de M\u00e9xico.

Tambi\u00e9n, el pasado 28 de mayo, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la D\u00e9cima Segunda Sesi\u00f3n Especial en la que se aprob\u00f3 el Proyecto de Acuerdo por el que se sustituyen Vocal\u00edas en una Junta Judicial Electoral del Instituto Electoral del Estado de M\u00e9xico.
